Leading players of the sustainable mobility
worldwide will gather in Valencia next February.
From February
13-15th, eMobility Expo World Congress will bring together more than 6,000
professionals to discover the latest trends, challenges and technology
solutions for the mobility industry The congress will be attended by leading
executives from organizations such as MIT, DHL, Mercedes-Benz, DEUTZ, AWS, and
the FIA Valencia will also host the first edition of the H2 - Hydrogen World
Congress on February 14th and 15th to discuss the benefits of hydrogen and its
application in the mobility sector
Albert
Planas, CEO of NEBEXT -organizers of the event-, said that
"the transition in which the industry is immersed brings with it a lot of
opportunities for investment throughout the entire value chain, from battery
manufacturers or hydrogen valleys to technology centers. Since we are aware of how
important this is, we want to take the event to the next level and position it
as a worldwide reference". In addition,Jesús Haro, director of
eMobility Expo World Congress, said that "when we started this project, we
saw immediately that Valencia had the perfect ecosystem to take the transformation
of sustainable mobility to a new dimension, as it is becoming more and more
international. This is important because Europe must be a carbon neutral
continent in the coming years and eMobility Expo World Congress is the key
business platform to address the challenges that this industry is
shaping".
A meeting point for sustainable transformation
The eMobility World Congress will host 10 vertical forums focused on the transformation in which the industry is immersed. In this sense, it will offer a content program for each industry segment such as automotive, logistics, rail, air and maritime transport, urban mobility, micro-mobility, integrated transport systems, as well as the field of energy and batteries. For this purpose, more than 370 international speakers will share their knowledge: Sebastian Grams, former CEO of Audi Sport and expert in vehicle electrification, David Storer, research director of CLEPA (European Association of Automotive Suppliers), Sebastian Schulte, CEO of DEUTZ, Laurianne Krid, General Director for Europe, Africa and the Middle East of the FIA (Federation Internationale de l'Automobile), René González, CEO of Alhona, a Gestamp Group company specializing in Smart Factory, Susana Solís Pérez, Member of the European Parliament, as well as a senior executive from Mercedes Benz.
In
the technological field, the congress will also be attended by Ashish Naik,
global specialist and head of EMEA marketing of emerging advanced computing
technologies at AWS (Amazon Web Services) and Paul George, global leader
of strategy and marketing of autonomous vehicles at AWS, as well as John
Moavenzadeh, executive director of the MIT Mobility Lab (Massachusetts
Institute of Technology). The event will host four agendas focused on different
professional profiles, such as the CEO's & Leadership Summit, the Fleet
Management Summit -aimed at fleet managers-, the CIO's Summit and
the Governments & Manufacturers Summit, in which leading companies
and associations of the sector such as BP, Cepsa, Iberdrola, Repsol,
Mercedes-Benz, ANFAC, CLEPA or Future Fast Forward will meet with public
representatives to promote investments in manufacturing plants for electric
vehicles, batteries and new fuels such as hydrogen.
Hydrogen, the key to future mobility
Hydrogen has long been recognized as an energy carrier, but recent
advances in its production and use are elevating its role in sustainable
mobility. With improvements in hydrogen extraction methods and the development
of hydrogen fuel cells, this element is set to revolutionize various segments
of the mobility sector. In the case of Spain, this energy source can mark a
before and after in boosting the national economy in the coming years, as it is
the country that has more hydrogen projects distributed throughout the
territory. Consequently, this could become a great opportunity to
reindustrialize Spain and turn it into the energy locomotive in Europe. For
this reason, and coinciding with the celebration of the eMobility Expo World
Congress, Valencia will host the first edition of H2 - Hydrogen World
Congress on February 14thand
15thto analyze the benefits of green hydrogen and its application in
the mobility sector and also in the industry. This congress will bring together
the main initiatives being developed in the country and will be attended by
experts in the field as Curro Nicolau (Go Energy Group), Monica Aguado (CENER),
Maryna Hritsyshyna (Hydrogenious
LOHC), Patricia Prieto (Exolum),
Xavier Gimenez (University of
Barcelona), Javier Cervera (NET Zero Mar Alliance), and Xavier Ribas (EVARM), among others.
