Placed under the theme "Weaving the way towards sustainability", the international textile exhibition (TEXPO) will take place from May 26 to 28, 2023 at the Karachi exhibition center, in Pakistan, hundreds of exhibitors and several thousand visitors are expected at this major unmissable event. TEXPO is one of the largest international trade fairs for the textile and leather sectors. The event is marketed in more than 50 countries around the world. The fair will be organized by Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), Ministry of Trade, Government of Pakistan.

Among the objectives
of this fair is to showcase the textile industry from all over Pakistan and
brings together textile units reflecting the offerings of sectors such as:
leather garments, gloves, footwear, cotton, embroidery and lace, ready-made
-wear, linens, towel, knitted art silk, sportswear and functional fabrics, lace
and accessories, denim, knitwear, etc. According to the organization's website.
The aim of the event is to attract foreign investment showcasing Pakistan's
finest textile and leather products at the exhibition. The slogan of this
edition is linked to the protection of the planet and the fight against global
warming for Pakistan was visibly seen and felt by the devastating floods of
2022. The theme of this 4th edition is also to pay tribute to the efforts local
communities and the global textile industry which has been at the forefront of
efforts to ensure compliance with local and international laws and customer
requirements by striving to adopt environmentally friendly practices in sourcing
and production, helping to make an environmental, economic and social
difference. According to the organizer's website, for visitors, it is first of
all to discover the textile sector of Pakistan, having the best quality and the
best prices, to establish new contacts and collaborations by meeting companies
from highly competitive Pakistani textile industry, create B2B and B2C links
and again to know the latest trends in the fashion industry. The Embassy of the
Islamic Republic of Pakistan in Algiers, on behalf of the Trade Development
Authority of Pakistan (Ministry of Commerce), has the honor to invite importers
of Algerian textiles to participate in this major international exhibition of
TEXPO 2023 textiles.
